Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book our wedding venue?

Most couples book 12-18 months in advance, especially for popular dates like spring and fall weekends. However, we often have availability for dates 6-12 months out, particularly for Friday evenings or Sunday celebrations. The key is flexibility with your date if you’re planning on shorter notice. We recommend calling as soon as you have a general timeframe in mind, even if you haven’t finalized all the details. Popular months like May, June, September, and October fill up fastest, while winter and early spring dates often offer more flexibility and sometimes better pricing.

Our packages include the venue space for your ceremony and reception, professional catering with on-site food preparation, dedicated event coordination, tables and chairs, basic linens, and cleanup service. We also provide menu customization for dietary restrictions, coordination with outside vendors you choose, and day-of timeline management. What’s not included are flowers, photography, music, and specialty linens or decorations, though we can recommend trusted local vendors for these services. Every package is customizable based on your specific needs and guest count.

You can absolutely bring your own photographers, florists, musicians, and other vendors. We work with outside vendors regularly and will coordinate with them to ensure everything runs smoothly. We do require that all food and beverages go through our catering team for quality control and licensing reasons. For vendors we don’t know, we just ask that they provide proof of insurance and arrive for a brief coordination meeting before your event. Many couples appreciate our list of recommended vendors since we’ve worked with them before and know they’re reliable.

We take dietary restrictions seriously and can accommodate most needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher-style, and specific food allergies. During menu planning, we’ll discuss any restrictions in detail and create separate preparation protocols when needed. Our chefs are experienced with cross-contamination prevention for serious allergies. We recommend finalizing dietary needs at least 30 days before your wedding so we can plan accordingly. We’ll also work with you to ensure restricted guests have multiple delicious options, not just one alternative plate.

Guest count changes are normal and expected. We typically ask for a preliminary count when you book, then a more accurate number 60 days out, and a final count 14 days before your wedding. Increases in guest count are usually no problem as long as we’re within the venue’s capacity. If you need to decrease significantly, we’ll work with you on adjusting the menu and setup accordingly. There may be minimum guest requirements depending on your package, but we’ll discuss this upfront so there are no surprises.
